The Blogging Angels were very excited to have two guests with us for this podcast, Lorie Boyd and Jon Shalowitz, who came to our “studio” (Nancy’s awesome apartment) to talk about myi, which is a service that customizes the internet, working across all of your internet-enabled devices. And why would we devote an entire episode to this? It wasn’t because they brought us the cutest chocolates ever (those are some of the myi apps in chocolate!):
It’s because the four of us are tech-savvy computer/phone/game console/gadget-laden moms who all have different wants and needs in our homes for how we use the internet. And as much as we would like to pretend that we have all of these devices slaving away exactly as we want them to, in reality it’s often the opposite – sometimes, the devices are running us.

So, instead of trying to wrangle all of the different controls on all of our different devices, we’re excited about the prospect of this soon-to-launch service giving us an easy, apps-based way to tackle the issue at the source: with the internet coming into the house. You can check out the myi online magazine, and of course, listen to our podcast to learn all about it!
And a HUGE apology to @NYCPatty – Amy went back to her notes after the podcast and realized that she hadn’t “stumbled” upon her Golden Halo link, it was sent to her by the Blogging Angels fan who writes A Day in My NYC. Thanks Patty!
